One of the earliest recorded Israeli visas form the temporary government established on May of 1948. The visa issued a month later, being issued in Prague for immigration purposes to Israel from Bulgaria. During that period of time there was no official clear representation in Sofia, thus it was expressed to Czechoslovakia for endorsement.
