Another post from Andy Jelcic. Enjoy!
A 10''+ size, nice form, very complex vase: green ground glass, blue aventurine fields and not-so-controlled bubbles. They are intentional, but not so regular as in my other such vase, a Poschinger. It has a copper Art Nouveau overlay and a rare white cabochon (genuine) - these are usually red. All elements in perfect condition, remains of the old retail sticker on the bottom.
Now Craig, can we negotiate the name of this decor? To me, "variegated mica" sounds like a grape disease, something that will ruin your vineyard. How about Kralik Blue Aventurine Pampas? Until the Kralik archives are opened one day and we learn the real name of this decor.
Great Vase and great work on this!!
Beautiful!
