A pretty cool Large Murano Aventurine Ashtray with Red Glass and a White Liner. Measures 12" x 12" x 3" tall. I haven't seen one like this before. I'd be interested in learning, when it was made. Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Deano - This is Murano Art Glass made by the Furanc company of FRATELLI TOSO. It is called a Butterfly Ashtray // Bowl. I have a couple posted too here:

You will note here in my post that I took a picture of one of my Butterfly Bowls against a Published Book with several other Examples on the pages. I believe that was from either a Leslie Pina Book on "Fratelli Toso" or from the Book "Italian Glass Century 20", page 166, says Fratelli Toso, designed by Ermanno Toso in the 1950's and 1960's

I have quite a few FT Bowls ( Ashtrays ) as they were originally made for back in the day. Very Common Piece of FT, there are lots out there! Nice Find !!
