This could have been entitled, Spatter Glass or even Tango Glass, depending on your view of what comprises Tango Glass. However Art Deco Satin Glass seems, to me at least, to be more difficult to find so I chose to highlight that. I like it also because it's another shape in a décor I already have.
Height 18cm./7 inches
Thank you, nutsabotas, generous as ever.
stunning color,design!!
Thank you, SEAN, certainly vivid!
Very nice - so, is this not Ruckl then Peggy?
Difficult.....the Ruckl catalogue page published in Truit II (page 75) shows drawings of various spatter décors with black pulls. The pulls are irregular, but nevertheless pulls. These two vases have black spatter over the base spatter and on that alone I wouldn't make the leap to say these are Ruckl. Furthermore the glass itself is thin, which goes against the oft stated idea that Ruckl glass is many layered and therefore thick.
Thus I don't know.......not something that bothers me!
Quite right - lovely vases - clearly Czech - that'll do for me!
Fiery. Photos show these beautifully.
Isn't it great to have similar but different vases - comparing colours and shapes.
Both have their great attributes.
I agree, Karen, I do try to stop at three though :)
Very beautiful. I love their satin finish
Thanks, Vintagefran, I find it hard to credit that satin glass can feel smoother than other glass......but it can!!
Another beautiful vase in your collection.
Love it.
Regards
Alan

I lump all mine together in the Ruckl box but one has to be open to other possibilities as well. I am just getting all mine together at the moment.
