I think that this is Art Deco and probably Czech but if you can identify it as something else please tell. I'd say the décor is streaky pink/orange on cream glass with a clear outer casing. It's on a tiny clear foot, is very well made and extremely glossy.
Image 3 discloses that this came complete with powder puff and image 4 shows just how large the puff is when taken out of the bowl.
Diameter 12 cm./4.75 inches Height 9 cm./3.5 inches
Puff and all! That's fantastic and I wish I lived in a time I could use this daily.
Thanks, Karen.....I don't know about using it as I fear the puff may be real fur. Enlarge image four and look at how fine the'hairs' are!
It is so fine! Rabbit do you think or something better than that?
I have no idea, but having compared it to the fur collar of a vintage coat I think it's perhaps better.
Hi Sklo! Lovely powder jar!
Old puffs were made from goose/ swan's down!

Thank you so much, Kyratango :) You've rescued me from my ignorance. It seems they are still being made today, and furthermore being sold by a company that is proudly displaying it's Royal Warrant.
I think the puff may be worth more than the powder bowl. The things you can learn here !!!
You're very welcome :-)
CW is fantastic to see unusual pieces, learn a lot and.... leads to new addictions! ;-))
No space for new addictions.......
Of course yes! Remind you glass is usually hollow... you can stuff your stuff with smallest stuff ;-D
Do you think they made Russian dolls out of glass???
This idea is worth to be patented!
