    Can anyone tell me if they know the model of this practice or maybe real bomb shell. It seems very similar to the practice bombs of ww2 but used straps instead of hard mounted d rings and has a hole where I've never seen one before

      Probably a practice bomb & the hole is for adding water etc. for weight.

      That's my assumption too. The practice bombs were filled with sand or water but in all the pictures I've gone through I've not seen this hole. It could just be a different model of practice bomb but I can't find it
