    Hi , I was directed to this site from a friend. I have a backgammon game encased in suede and as I've always been told Ivory pieces.

    I do not know the actual age of it but I have been carrying it around for about 30 years. Case shows some ware , but it was played an traveled well.

    Any other information or more input from the experts here would be greatly appreciated

      Excellent. This one looks extremely similar to the one my Dad had. When I was young he taught me how to play. We would play for imaginary money. I think I ended up owing him about a million dollars. lol! That was in the 70's. So I think ours was from that time period. I don't know about the ivory pieces though.
