    Looks like a glazed Japanese pottery vase, Depicts a man with child on opposite sides of the vase. It is about ten inches high. It seems to be a very early example.

      If there is a mark on the bottom, a photo might be helpful. You can use the edit feature on the left to change out a photo.

      Without required export Japanese or Chinese marking, it was probably made for the domestic market. There is some moriage decoration suggestive of turn of the last century Japanese, although the Chinese also produced some.

      No, didn't miss it, but the mark is distinctive and I'm sure it's not in any of my references. Nice porcelain, but I think it is very new.
