A collection of Eva Peron stamps that I bought at a stamp and postcard fair sometime in 1989.
Eva Peron led a fascinating life and even more fascinating was her story after death. It read like a Ripley's Believe It or Not ! I read my first book on Evita Peron, which I bought after high school. You can read wiki, but their story is not as interesting as the facts in the books on Evita.

I'd only heard her name mentioned now and then on TV, but never really paid much attention. This is the first time I've actually seen her picture, I mean really looked closely at her. She certainly was beautiful. [;>)
Thanks all for the nice comments. There are some more matronly pictures taken shortly before this photo was taken. She died at age 32. I should have posted her pictures of when she went to see the Pope/ Sometimes as n Evita'si case, the truth is harder to believe than the fiction !~
I saw the musical “Evita” about her fascinating life and death, then bought the album and played it many times! What a story she had!
Thank you Watchsearcher for the comment..Evita's life after her death was as fascinating as her life was with the body being preserved, hidden n another country, her return and being on display 20 years after her death among other things.
