These meat grinders are an antique mall staple but not so often with the box and instruction sheet. This one may never have been used. Although there is some rust on the mounting screw there are no signs of use, plus it was disassembled.
These were first made in the late 1800s although the graphics on the box look 1940s or 50s. Once more just guessing.
There are three blades that came with this. I put the medium blade on it when I put it together. As they sell meat already ground now I may not need this often although it can be used for foods other than meat.
In the UK we find lots of these, mostly by a company Spong and some years back I sold quite a few online, mainly because people would buy to "decorate" a table and not use them.
They are very effective if used and you bean slicers as well.
These are great for not showing their age. We used ours a lot in the 60's to 70's. Nice one.
Thank you very much GeodeJem. I just happened to also pick up Spong grinder.
Thank you very much Phil. The box shows a bit of age but I am not sure how much age.
Thank you
