These three Loetz Creta Ciselé vases came up together and uncatalogued at a local estate auction. No serious bidders and I picked them up for not much, along with a very nice Candia Silberiris Diaspora vase.
Obviously the outer vases (5.5in, 14cm) with four handles are a pair, and the middle one (6.5in, 17cm) is the same colour and decor.
I'm pretty sure they would've been purchased together, and intended as a garniture (set of three), probably bought from the Liberty & Co agency in New Zealand that operated circa 1900 to 1920.
I'm not really a glass guy, just like to pick up nice pieces when I see them at the right price, so interested to hear if anyone knows the the shape numbers or can add any further info.
drooling here on these fabulous vases!!
Hehe, Paul, now you got bitten by glass virus... ;-)
Superb set, and your pics are beautiful too!
Hi Kyra, I've had that bug for a while now, but I don't find much of it in my country, we're a long way from Bohemia!
