This lighter has never been used as a lighter. The music it plays is beautiful (I don't know the tune just yet). You just push down as if to light it and the music starts playing. It's a great conversation piece made in 1951.

What name brand lighter is it? Do you know anything about it?
I can't find a brand name or any printing on the lighter at all. All I know is that the person who owned it before me bought it years ago as an investment and never took it out of it's packaging (which was not original). I did some research on-line and found the year it was made (1951) but not much more.
