PART II - Unusual Clip Earrings - Lucite?

I think that these are Lucite. The *gems* feel warm and smooth and also have a kind of "plastic" feel. They are very well made. There were flesh colored ear comforts attached to the clips, but disintegrated when I began cleaning the earrings.
No explanation for the crackle like appearance, however.
These earrings are one inch square.
Not bad for a Quarter.
