this is a little show and tell of a knife I previously posted.
the last pic shows the knife in the condition it was when I 1st acquired it. the other pics show it now. its been sanded down to the point of making this blade like an xtra hollow ground blade.. it will pile the hair up on your arm... extremely sharp. it still shows a little faded pitting, but this is the best I could do and not ruin it.
the sheath I acquired later for the knife.
it actually was fitted to an Italy G.C. co. knife. a trapper. ive seen pics of it
this goes to show, a little of edge brands history right here and just how closely they worked with G.C..co. and 1 of the many countries they outsourced products to. I have, also in my possession a vintage goats ft knife tang stamped G.C. co. Solingen Germany that is fitted with an edge brand sheath. the combinations were limitless, it seems.
on my profile , on a different knife discussions forum. the question is asked... whats your favorite brand of knife ? my reply.. edge brand.
not only do they hold edges really well, they have virtually every type of fixed blade knife made during the years of their production, and tons of others that other companies haven't begun to fathom .
this hair splitting knife. in its mixed beauty, is my hunting partner to be.
