    This appears to be a stone base for a sculpture - i got it w/ the Vic Bergeron sculptures i picked up the other day. It feels and looks like Jade, but is probably another serpentine-family stone. it's very beautiful, heavy, and hard. 6" x 4" x 1"

      thanks Thomas and Phil! i like it too. so it's not a serpentine type? it seems too hard for anything but marble or jade.

      whatever this is, nothing has been able to scratch this. i think it might be jade. i need to get a good scale to measure specific gravity.
