Emme

I'll post a pic of all of my finds today. This brooch measures 1 7/8" x 1 3/8". The brilliant cut stone in the center is 6/16" and is surrounded by 9 navette cut rhinestones. There are 28 little rhinestones adorning the the outer "leaves". What is interesting about this brooch is the setting of the navette-cut stones for it gives the illusion of another tier of stones as it slightly changes the color of the stone midway. I don't know if that makes sense. Anyway, thought I would post it because it is actually something that I can identify! I am guessing 1950's? Thanks for looking.
Super jewelry....you did very well!!
The flower colour is different isn't it! I see what I think you mean :)
Gorgeous brooch.
I see what you say about color change. It must have something to do with the setting, even though it's close back; see it follows the outline of the brace on the back: perhaps a "step-up" under the stones to provide more depth to the design.
It's a beauty, love the bling! Nice find, Emme. :)
