It's a bank! One from my town, too.
The National Lumberman's Bank of Muskegon opened in 1859 and changed names in 1966.
This bank looks like a book save for the brass 'pages' which make up the insert for coins and the lock for the missing key. There are patent dates on it, but nothing formed after the 19 in the year.
Anyone know when it's from? I've seen some sites calling them 1920s.
any money in it ..? cool bank
Not that I can tell. No key.
Thanks. :)
