Hi all- I've had this lamp for a while but I've never known anything about it. It's signed "Etincelant Perfectionne' Paris" but I've never been able to find anything online. Any information about the maker, date, or anything else would be appreciated. I assume this was a vase at one point in time (origin?), and then was converted into an oil lamp, and finally an electric lamp???

Also, could someone tell me what the technique used to decorate the vase is called? The white flower design has been applied or painted onto the vase in a manner that I have not seen before. It seems more applied than painted as the floral design raises quite a bit from the flat surface of the vase.

    Thanks!!
