I found these in a bin of old silverware and thought they were kind of funny. They have the logo for the Boca Raton Beach Club on them and the name inscribed on them too. I noticed that they say they are made in Taiwan W1 which struck me as kind of odd. Then I also noticed that the logos are sometimes on one side of the knife and sometimes on the other so you couldn't set a table properly with them. That's when I started to think they were worth the 25 cents. I never heard of hotel silver being made in Taiwan but I don't collect any. But what really appealed to me was the image of someone ordering the Continental Breakfast for four days and stealing the knife each morning, taking them home and decades later having those stolen treasures dumped unceremoniously in the silverware bin at Goodwill.
I think it is silver-plate but didn't see a category for that so I stuck it in stainless steel, in honor of the fact that it was likely stolen. :)
