Hi everyone, I have two pieces of jewelry to show tonight that I need a little help with. I know there are some jewelry enthusiasts here so....
I found this bracelet awhile back. I think these are moonstones and blue sapphires? Not sure though. The reason I wanted to share it is because it looks handmade, the stones are set pretty well. I guess some opinions would help. It is really small....a child's bracelet? Thanks!!!
What a beautiful bracelet! The stones do look like Moonstones and Sapphires. Might be 1940s. Too bad there aren't any marks on it at all. I have bracelets with bible clasps, and any marks are usually on the clasp.
Thanks efesgirl for the comment! Funny thing I was just watching Antiques Roadshow and I learned that Louis Comfort Tiffany loved the combination of moonstone and blue sapphire.
So you think this could be as old as the 1940s?

check this bracelet out....
thanks for the loves: vetraio, martika, aura, caper, nice melanie, katherine, racer, tassie, mikelv, efes, sean!
I am also wondering if this is platinum not silver, I will have to test it
Yes, I think it could be as early as the '40s. The chain link design is rather unusual, as is the square shaped, rectangle bible clasp design.
How could I tell the quality of the saphires? Is there something I can do? Or does a jeweler have to look at it? I really appreciate the help, thank you so much!!
