This was formerly my son's bedroom - now it is my haven, lol! Every single thing you see in these photos (except my grandparent's photo & my gray dog on the chair, whose name is George - he is 60 years old) came from second hand shops or flea markets. I was very pleased to find those period cotton drapes in a shop I visit about twice a month. Four panels. The chair and footstool came from Belgium, a total expenditure of $7.50. (The towel is there for the cat).
Thanks for looking/loving!

I guess that's the difference between men and women ~ I'm too ashamed to show my "knife room" ~ knives everywhere. In plastic containers on top of the drawers, in cardboard boxes on the floor, in bubble-wrap baggies on the desk, in plastic tubs under the desk, and individual knives on top of the printer! No organization at all...... a cluttered mess! [;>)))))))
Nevada - you need peg walls (or whatever they are called) where you can hang hooks and then hang the knives from the hooks. How about that? :-))))))
Ken - I am sure you could. That chair is great.
Sure,....... but what would happen is this: I would go out and buy a bunch of wall pegs and they would end up cluttered on top of the drawers and on the desk and under the desk and on top of the printer! [;>)))))))
Ooooh, I see, NB..... :-))))))
val - my jewelry collection lives partly in my bedroom and mostly in my workroom. I have an 11 drawer ( dunno what happened to drawer no. 12) jeweler's cabinet in there which holds the majority of my jewelry. I also have a vintage expandable sewing box which holds the overflow. :-]]]]
