    Purchased at auction in Southern Illinois. It was in a box full of other clear glass items all covered in thick dust. Have successfully ID'd many of the items. Thought this might be simple with tag, but have had no luck.

      does look like the S&P shaker that could be used for a miniature lamp.

      TallCakes - With the latest photo added does that help you determine anything?

      Do you have any idea of the time period? I assume the tag ID's it as Imperial glass company, but does it have a pattern name?

      I think the Imperial 'Grape' pattern was introduced c1914; but was made for amy years in various forms and colors. The logo used on that paper label was introduced in 1940 with modifications over the years.
