I am trying to find out info about this mouse. Can't find one anywhere like it. It is made from Mitsubishi and they seemed to make only a few.

They were launched in the USA in 1988, labeled as 'Japans Number 1 Selling Mouse', and retailed for $79.99. They are the classic ball rolling mouse for use with PC's (i.e. MS DOS and as it was then Windows 2!), and plugged into a serial port either the D9 (classic 'joystick' port of old), or wider D25 which was usually for printers etc.
As for rarity I don't know, but I've seen a few in my time, but I am a computer nerd and have worked in IT since the early 1990's so I'm not suggesting they are common.
It looks like you have the box, which is good, make sure the ball and rollers are clean / gunk free and give it a test. To do that you'd either have to have a very old PC, or something like a Commodore Amiga / Atari ST etc, or you can get D9 to USB adapters. Would be interesting to see what a modern OS made of it - but it should work fine as a normal mouse.
Hope that helps!
Thank you very much
