Found this Amphora portrait vase. Unfortunately there is a hairline in it but I like it so much I was thinking on getting a restoration. Any thoughts? Did some research and I came across an artist name. Not sure if this is one of his. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. THANKS
She is so beautiful.
I found this:
An Amphora glazed porcelain Portrait vase, decorated by Nicholaus Kannhaüser produced by Reissner Stellmacher & Kessel, 1892-1905

Slightly different but I believe by the same hand. If your vase is as good she would be valuable undamaged.
Me? I would restore her just to keep in the hope that restoration will keep her together.
shes very beautiful!!
Thanks guys. After all who isn't a little damaged.
Painted by Kannhaüser
(Richard L. Scott et al., Ceramics from the House of Amphora, Sidney, Ohio, Richard L. Scott, 2004).
Leave it like this; hairline crack cannot be repaired unless overpainted, which would make it even worse. Enjoy your beautiful vase.
Thanks IVAN49 for the info. I think I will. Displays nicely.
