    Another of my set of Douglas Aircraft Picture cards made circa 1956. Also photos of the real thing from my latest road trip to Tucson. They are from the Pima Air and Space Museum.
    The C-133 Cargomaster first entered service in 1956 and served until the early 1970s when it was replaced by the C-5 Galaxy.
    Apparently there are no airworthy examples left as all were flown to almost twice the life of the airframe. Unfortunate as it would be an impressive plane in flight.

      Are these like a Hercules? I think the RAAF still uses them.

      Thank you very much racer4four. They are a larger than the Hercules but similar. None of these fly today according to my research. They are still making the Hercules.
