This one IS French Racer4four, helpfully signed by Daum, France, also helpfully missed by seller who looked on bottom before offering ridiculously low price (note to French glass newbies, Daum sign on the side near the base, not the bottom).
Not the most inspired shape but the quality and name made it a must buy.
    Height: 15cm, Length 45cm.

Anyone else out there collecting French glass, I am fed up talking to myself!

This is so very French no?
I get what you mean about being alone. Everyone loves the glass but to find someone who is on exactly the same path of collecting could be good. Although maybe we would start arguing like the Czech collectors?

I usually can't keep myself from buying orphaned Daum, Baccarat or Vannes if the price is low enough and the damage / wear is minimal. It's a sickness, I suppose, but there are worse addictions out there so... c'est la vie!

Karen, yes this one is typically French but a little unadventurous for my taste.
Don't mention the "C" word, they will only start squabbling again! I like to think collectors of French (and Japanese) glass would sit around drinking wine discussing which piece would cause most damage when dropped on the head of Donald Trump.

Hi swfinluv, glad to hear someone is looking after the orphaned pieces, I can't possibly take them all, but I am trying!
