Incredible collection of great glass you have.
Have you been collecting long? Where have you purchased your pieces from; over seas or internet?

Thank you. I have been collecting glass for about a year now. It is my hobby that I do in my spare time. I've traveled around the world for some pieces. Most pieces purchased in Thrift shops in the states, markets and a few online. How long have you been collecting? I love your Luili, what sort of things do you collect?

I have been collecting all my like, mainly retro stuff but got into glass big time about 6 years ago.
I started with Scandinavian and still have lots of Kosta Boda and Aseda and others packed away that I really should move on. Then I got into Czech glass, post war era including Sklo Union. It needs to be moved on too.
My passion now is Japanese glass. I realised a while back it is well made and often different and no-one knew much about it. It's been a challenge for me to collect it and find out about it.
I buy a bit from Japan but as you know Australia imported a lot of Japanese glass so I still find good stuff here, occasionally even at oppies but that is drying up lots.
My house is silly overflowing, my family laments and my friends think I need an intervention. Caution! The bug hits hard!!

Scandinavian is wonderful to collect. Also think Czech and Bohemian is a gem. Japanese glass is interesting, especially the bark vases. I wish you all the best in expanding or contracting your collection.
