My great grandmother gave these spoons to my grandmother on her 20th birthday in 1926. At that time, they both worked in service in England. Any help identifying the origin of these spoons is appreciated.

Is there nothing stamped on the spoons themselves? Silver flatware will have maker's marks. These spoons are virtually untraceable if there are no stamps on them.

I don't see any marks on the spoons. Perhaps they hold only sentimental value. Thank you.

I imagine they were new when your mother got them as the box that the spoon set is in is art deco, which is indicative of the 1920's. Beautiful box.

I think these spoons came from a little shop in one of the local villages vs. from the military base shop. I tried to find them, but no luck. They are still beautiful after so many years.

This is my first experience with a web site like this, and I feel grateful to those who have responded - THANK YOU! This endeavor has helped me connect with my grandmother in spirit. She was an amazing woman.
