    I saw this dog in a local thrift shop some years ago and, after seeing those blue glass eyes, decided she needed a new home. I have no idea in what currency the Woolworth price of 3.90 represents, but I am surprised that the price tag has remained there for these last 60+ years!

    Gotheborg says: "Pieces marked with JAPAN or MADE IN JAPAN in plain text without any company marks, in general date to the period immediately after the second WW."

    Thanks for looking, CW friends!

      Oh Bonnie I saw this and two things happened;
      1. I snorted coffee out my nose
      2. I fell in love.

      Weren't the Japanese the best at making these absolutely ridiculous but gorgeous creatures?
