    i found this at a garage sale and loved the colors. it measures approx. 5.5" x 3.5". i've done some research on pottery marks but can't seem to figure out who the artist is. i have no information on where it may have come from.

      Welcome to CW. The bottom look odd, has to be unique to the maker.

      It's a great piece. Really attractive and different.
      I think the marks on the base are from stilts but that grooving is very individual.

      the mark appears to be an SH or HS. there are lots of sites w/ pottery monograms on them. think about where you got it too and then start searching for studio pottery w/ that mark... it's a nice piece and a good monogram. i'll bet you can find the maker!
