I wanted to share this piece for awhile now. The quality of the painting is good. That is all I really know about the piece. The bowl is in good condition, only a tiny chip on the foot of the piece. The painting has some losses throughout. Looks like some of the gold color rubbed off over time. Very beautiful, highly detailed work. The scene is interesting as well.

The piece is signed, or incised on the bottom. There are two marks, but they aren't painted. They are done in relief....I guess is the best way to describe it. If you recognize the marks please drop me a comment. I searched Gotheborg, but no luck. Emjoy!
