    Rattletrap

We actually found and purchased this awesome old Mack C cab truck last year but it was too late in the year to get it. Today we finally went up and got it and it was no picnic loading with 3 frozen wheels! A good winch on the front and a tractor pushing from the back and we finally loaded to old girl on the trailer for the long trip back to Lakeside Storage where it will be displayed in the free Museum. This one is so cute we might even restore it? Haven't figured out exactly what year it is yet?

      Trey,
Great idea but it doesn't quite go like my chipped out Duramax that pulled it at 75 mph down the Highway. I'm old, have little time left and in a hurry to use it, so don't drive slow nor wait well in lines. :):)

Put in a modern drivetrain:) old on the outside and brand new on the inside:) Turbo Diesel with stack pipes:)

      Trey,
Great idea for u younger guys, but I'm old and love the comforts of my Duramax even tho I like the outside looks of the Mack a lot better. Think I'll just drive my antique cars & trucks locally with the grandkids and do the hauling in comfort. I love your idea tho! I just needed to do it 40 yrs ago. :):)

Sweet old gal. I would get her running, put on some new rubber, a bit of brake adjusting, as they sound a bit tight based on description. :) , then just putt around enjoying the low tech lifestyle in a solid old workhorse. I have the misfortune of working at a KW dealership and spend my life fussing with sensors and dpf crap. Fuel injection is about as high tech as I want these days on any vehicle.

      Otaco4me,
Thx for the input. I think I'll give it w try and see how it works. Still not sure what year it is nor how much it weighs but it is very heavy. I also have another Mack purchased in Idaho that is about a 1921-3 and I need to find the weight on it without the bed. It is the chain drive model they used in WW1 and is rough but very cool looking. My trailer holds abt 12k lbs max.

      Nicefice
They say it was the old Macks that built the highway infrastructure of America. It was the Britts that named them Bull Dogs during WWI and the Company was smart and adopted the name and began using it for advertising
