Czechoslovakian Tango pot orange with Applied flower and branch. Square Made in Czechoslovakia is very faded and sits in the same place as it does on the red one....directly centre on the base. I put this in to Tango category....
A lovely little pot in orange. The design and pattern is pretty much a replication of the red one. Interesting stripes on the base, struck fom the outsie to the centre. Both pots have this feature.
This is where I need help. I bought this as I tried to find a complete one with lid. So decided to buy this one and chance my hand in finding a lid....Someone in here told me if you were 100-200 years old you'd be a little worse for wear and missing some bits! So in the past I wouldn't have bought this but who knows, it just might turn up...so in photo it should look very similar to the red ones lid .....enjoy!
FABULOUS!!
Thanks glassiegirl. I don'y really won't to try for a frog.
1) It's not the correct object
) It would be hard to find a small one for this pot.
3) They tend to grind and chip the rims.
I'm just really keen to find the orange lid.
I suppose depending on the time, the red one on the left looks orange but it's red.......oh please can someone help. !
oh dear, my fingers aren't working well.....Leah, what did you mean by finding a set? I doubt these two colours constitute a "set". Or do you mean the red one having its lid....I've seen many bases but the red "set" was such a find and from memory it was bought in Australia.
Hope everything is well.... Anne
Hiya Sean. Thank for liking my pots....
Whether you find a lid or not Anne it's a great pot and fits in well with your fab tango collection.
One day maybe......
thank you Karenxx
Would be great to see the square mark, Anne. You have a fan here.
I'll try and get the square one off the red one as the orange one is so faded. Interestingly there is another round one that just says Chechoslovakia. I'll get the exact spelling yoo. On my way to my trial drug apt. So will do tomorrow when I hopefully have better light.
These pots don't come up often and they seem to be quite rare. I'd love to see it in green or blue but I doubt they did other colours. Yellow would be awesome!
