    I believe these are WW2 U.S. Bullion Citation Bars from the Pacific Campaign but I'm Not Sure. They appear to have slight differences in colors on the ribbons. They both are the same size at 1.5 inches long. I was hoping one of the guys could clear it up for me.

      Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation. Awarded BY S. Korean government and specific to the Korean War-- can be still awarded today.

      Your examples both appear to be 1950s vintage.

      It is embroidered, but I wouldn't consider it "field made". Embroidered insignia was made in theater as well as in the US. Embroidered insignia can still be special ordered today.

      Clarification-- I left a key word out: "Awarded by the S Korean government and NOT specific to the KW..."
