Dad brought it home. WWII. Inscribed: 7-5 REIMS 1945 CAPITULATION. More inscription on the back side. I cannot read it. If anyone has one like it, I'd be interested in more info. It is made of metal. The black is mostly tar from years of use for cigars and cigarettes.
