This was just a "little" black - it cleaned up nicely. There are two silver marks > a 925 stamp and the Dutch sword mark with "925", plus the silversmith initials (which I think are "GD") inside a triangle on the inner band. Too difficult to photograph.
The ring is a perfect fit, of course!

Gee, thanks for all the love/ nice comments! As to when it was made, I don't really know. Could be 10 years ago or 40 years ago. I still don't know who the silversmith is, but continue to persevere. I have other silver pieces with his initials, too.
