My dad had one identical displayed in the window of his newspaper office in the late 1940s. He is stuffed with straw-like substance. He has a molded face and cotton hair and beard. His boots are hard plaster. I bought him from an antique dealer. Folks either love his character or think he is a scary santa! I love him.
