    Small brooch/pin with 2 pieces of mother of pearl or shells to simulate a bud or flower. All brass setting with old "C" clasp. Measures 1 1/2" x 3/4". On the photo of the back in the upper right hand corner may be a mark but of this I am not sure.

      Agree with Ken, does need a smidge of cleaning up. Very attractive brooch, probably antique. :)

      I don't think it should be cleaned, until it's known what it's made of. I do not believe it's brass as the surface is too clean - if that makes sense.

      It's so easy to damage metal when you don't know what it is. (Never forget verdigras.)

      A little wash won't hurt it. The metal could be bronze but it's likely brass. The flowers are elk teeth. The brooch was made someplace in Austria or the neighborhood at the beginning of the 20th century.
