A few months pass I was watching a person who was selling quite a few pieces of Bernard Instones work. I waited patiently for a couple of years, watching everyday, to my surprise one day the prices had dropped dramatically, I also asked the seller if we could do a deal if I bought all of her Bernard Instone pieces, luckily for me they did, I was over the moonstone.
These earrings are part of that collection. They are screw fitting and have a 2cm long solid silver dropped. Attached to this drop is a silver mount of about 1.2 cm in diameter, decorated with leaves and berries in the Bernard Instone style, the leaves look a gold colour, and the berries are silver. In the centre of this mount, in a bezel fitting, is a very colourful opal doublet. The back is enclose and marked sterling silver.

Hi Karen, I watched this listing for what seemed like forever, well I was very pleased to say the least, when I saw the price had drooped. It just goes to show patience sometimes pay, but it's one of those things I was lucky this time, may be not so lucky not time, but it's the name of the game, you win a few and loose a few. Thanks yet again Karen for your lovely comment, I have to say, of the three pair of Instone earrings I posted, these are my favourite, the Moonstone earrings come a close second.
