This has got to be one of the STRANGEST DOLLS I've ever purchased, next to the shrunken head ! She is suppose to represent the earth, fertility and growth in spirit of all things that come from the earth. Her head and limbs are pottery and her body is cloth, her hair is of hemp rope, her dress is quilted and very well made, she comes with a basket and a tag which explains who she is and her maker . She takes a bit getting use to, more of a Folk Art type doll but a interesting piece for sure!

She is a shocker isn't she! I bought her at a local thrift store, they were eager to sell her ,so I paid $5.00 for her that day. She is a bit scary at first, but now after reading about her and what she is suppose to represent ,I've come to view her as a cool , but strange Folk Art piece.
