I bought this from an estate sale and trying to fin out some info. I know the artist and painting is Raphaels "The school of Athens. but that is all I really know. I was trying to find find out the age and is it a engraving plate or print plate or any info you can give me would be much appreciated. also it is made out of like a cast metal or iron. Thanks Joell
A print plate would be mirrored I think?
It certainly looks old and was affixed to something that was outside based on its condition.....may be a gate/ building. RER
