    Ian, here are your requested photograps of the marks on my pot with lid. Feel free to get the magnifier out!

    Your'e going to have to use your imagination on photo 3 to see the square label but it is there and say Czechoslovakia

      Hi Anne the third photo reads within the square
      CZECHO SLOVAKIA
      I manipulated your image firstly by rotating 90Deg anti clockwise so Czecho is at top of square and Slovakia at base ,
      them played with it so can read most of it .

      Thanks. I sometimes negativise or invert the image of these and they can then magically appear - or not sometimes!
      Thanks for posting the marks. Others are so much more expert in these but I am interested.

      Thanks heaps Marty. I had actually read this but Ian had asked to see the stamps up close. So I posted it for him. It's great what you did by rotating them. As you know one of my arms is paralysed...so doing clever stuff is now beyond me ... :(
