This was my Nonni's Hoke Furniture bedroom set. My mother said as a little girl I always wanted it. I don't remember saying that but I am extremely grateful. I spent some time researching Hoke Furniture and I am seeing more pieces online now than I did two years ago. They really are very well made and one of a kind. They have a very special unique signature style. I would love to see more Hoke pieces.
I have the headboard, armoire, dresser with mirror, and two nightstands. The nightstands are at my moms and soon to be returned to the rest of the set.
I would be happy to hear from anyone that has Hoke pieces or know anything about them.
Also 1960's made. They are French Provincial in style. I know "Hubbard & Hoke" are still in business. Sonetimes these makers put out catalog books. I have one published in 60's by Baker Furniture. Also there is often numbers on back of dressers with year made etc. Not sure if there was a Hubbard catalog. Possibly makers town Library would have copies in the History Room.
Yours possibly made 1967. Cannot read the city where the Hoke Furniture Co was located in your sticker. Here is a good read on internet I just saw :
