    Hi,
This was my Nonni's lamp. We have no information on it other than it was purchased in the perhaps late 60s.
I have searched high and low trying to figure out who makes this lamp. I would love to have a match and make a pair.
I would love to hear from anyone that has something similar or has knowledge on this particular lamp. It is solid and very heavy.
    Thank you.

Hi I have seen a number of these, a lot of different varieties. Were popular in mid 60's to early 1980's. Some have maker or more often initials on the bottom and year made. Have seen the base of yours before. There were a number of makers and since there was a big import market, they were imported mainly from California, U.S. and Italy. They often came with hanging ceiling lights which were rarely marked. Mainly the table lamp was the only thing sometimes marked.

OH my goodness! I wa shuts looking to purchase one of these I will post pic it's almost identical except I have a cherub at the base and its square with no footing. Is there a hallmark, back stamp or something identifiable on the bottom? Please let me know as soon as you can so I can do some research!

I'm torn because cherub lamps are a dime by the dozen. But these are multiple armed depression-esque glass sphere shades. I have only seen banquet lamps similar and Victorian table lamps. I am leaning towards a cast iron or pelter combo gilt, Italian tole maybe? There are just so many and have have not had a moment to do what I do best...research:) if you come across anything shoot it my way because I have an extrodianary amount of resources to compare. Thank. You and beautiful piece !
