My mom gave this to me today. It has been in her cedar chest for at least 40 years. She says my dad gave it to her when they were teenagers, and that it had belonged to his family. Problem is, all of the older generation is gone, and nobody can tell me a thing about this tapestry. I've been looking online, but really don't know where to start.
Some observations: definitely machine stitched edging. Odd shape based on what I've seen online. Looks to be machined. Feels like wool/wool blend as I am allergic to wool, and this made me itchy where I touched it.
So, where do I start?
