This folk art doll is actually a kitchen piece that belonged to a relative. I don't know how old it is, it could be from the 1930's, 40's., or 50's. It has a flat cardboard base under the skirt instead of a body or legs and I was told it is a toaster cover but the length and fullness of the skirt makes me think it was for covering something larger like maybe a mixer.
