I found this rather large polychrome wedding basket at Urban Ore today. it's about 7.5" wide by 5.5" deep and in good shape. there is no signature or design on the bottom. any info appreciated!

i believe that this is from San Ildefonso Pueblo.
This is a classic shape and design pattern, from Santo Domingo Pueblo, New Mexico. Called either a pottery basket, or a "double spout pitcher," it probably dates circa 1930s. If you'd like a reference, see "Southwestern Pottery, Anasazi to Zuni" by Alan Hayes and John Blom.
Santo Domingo pottery usually features bolder design patterns than San Ildefonso, with stylized leaf or flower designs, and the solid black line around the rims.
it also has some signs of being from Santo Domingo Pueblo and might even be from a marriage between someone from Sto Domingo and San Ildefonso. the form is very unusual. it's probably from the 1930s.
