    Do you have anyway of identifying this? My dad had this with him when he was deployed in the Middle East during WWII.

      It reminds me of one of the figures of Pompei.

      Thanks Celiene... I'll look those up.
      A Korean War Vet told me he wasn't sure what the figurine is, however he thinks he is holding a ww2 knuckle trench knife in his right hand.
      The guess is that the figure is bronze and some kind of good luck piece carried during the war.

      Wow -- that is an incredible piece. It is just fascinating the way he has one hip out and how much expression there is in the unfinished looking face and body. Thanks for sharing it -- please update us on anything you find out.
