      Your Town Crier looks like pewter and perhaps had a base for his missing feet. This is not a toy for children. Can't tell you where it came from, as any information was probably on the missing base.

      how unique it is..maybe 800 silver , fortunately you can have it tested.

      They used to use a lot of figures similar to this for weights for a scale. A lot of the figures had no feet or base. Just something to check into, I myself had just learned this a week or 2 ago, so I know little.
