I really don't know where this clock came from or how old it is. I'm not even sure what make it truly is. I see some that are similar but not quite the same as this one with the cherubs on the columns.

It sat on the mantle at my Dad's cottage, covered with an old dish towel for many years. After my Dad's passing I took it home and just recently paid $125 to get it working again. I love it! It now sits atop my grandfathers bureau in my guest bedroom. I love the "gongs" on the hour and the sweet sounding bell on the half hour. Don't know much about it though. Any input would greatly be appreciated!!

      Welcome to Collectors Weekly Debbie.
You have an Ingraham Cherub Black Mantel Clock circa 1903 or so. Do an Search on "Ingraham Cherub Clock" and you'll see other examples. They had Boy and Girl Cherubs. Most I've seen have flat porcelain columns. Your round columns seem to be less common.
Thanks for sharing your heirloom with us. Hope you and your family enjoys it for many generations to come! :)

I spent $125 to get this running and now it works like a charm! The gong and bell make me giggle each time I hear it! It's truly lovely and an I can't believe it sat unattended for so long. I'm happy and enjoying it! ??
